Many things purport to be "educational" today. As we live in a an increasingly gamified world, the ongoing debate about what is a game, what is entertainment, and what is edutaintment all obfuscates the real question, which is: does this interactive experience have educational benefits? And if so, what are they specifically? Can we identify them? Are they backed by the learning sciences?
